2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?

Ask for a Rhode Island contractor registration and look it up with the Contractors’ Registration and Licensing Board, or a Massachusetts registration across the line. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
