How the Badges Work
Each exam draws 10 questions and takes 8 right answers to pass. Anyone can study and take the exams. The exam itself issues nothing. A course badge goes on a company only when we record a pass for a named person who works there, and only for a company whose ownership we have verified.
Pass all 4 core courses and the company earns the Pro Certified seal. The Nevada course is a regional add on and is not needed for Pro Certified.
Ownership Verified means we confirmed who owns the company and its name, address and phone. Owner verification is by invitation while the center is new.
These badges show that someone at the company studied and passed our exams. They are not a license or a trade certification. The IICRC, the EPA and your state still set those, and every listing links the license lookup to use.
