Before You Call First Restoration America

1. Do you take moisture readings every day and will you give me the drying log?
2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?

In North Carolina, ask for a license number and check it with the state Licensing Board for General Contractors, and in South Carolina check with the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
