Before You Call Home Inspections Plus

1. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?
2. How many air samples will you take, and will you take an outdoor control sample?
3. Is your company licensed for asbestos abatement here?
4. Who takes the samples, and which lab tests them?
5. Is your firm certified under the federal lead renovation rule?

Ask for a Connecticut home improvement contractor registration and look it up with the Department of Consumer Protection. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
