2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. How will you deal with smoke odor inside wall cavities and the HVAC ducts?

Ask for a Virginia contractor license and look it up with the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, or in West Virginia check the contractor license with the Division of Labor. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
