Before You Call Real Estate Inspections

1. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?
2. How many air samples will you take, and will you take an outdoor control sample?
3. Is your firm certified under the federal lead renovation rule?
4. Will you set up containment and do cleaning verification at the end?

Ask for the contractor’s Delaware business license and any state trade license, and check permits with your city or county. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
