1. Do you take moisture readings every day and will you give me the drying log?
2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. How will you deal with smoke odor inside wall cavities and the HVAC ducts?
4. Do you do contents pack out, and will I get an itemized inventory?

In West Virginia, ask for a contractor license and check it with the Division of Labor. In Ohio, check with your city or county building department and ask for a state trade license for plumbing or electrical work. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the crew.
