Before You Call DART

1. Do you take moisture readings every day and will you give me the drying log?
2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. How will you deal with smoke odor inside wall cavities and the HVAC ducts?
4. Do you do contents pack out, and will I get an itemized inventory?
5. Will you remove the carpet and pad that the sewage touched?

Ask for the license that fits where you live, a DC home improvement license, a Maryland Home Improvement Commission license or a Virginia Board for Contractors license, and look it up with that agency. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
