What Makes Scranton and Wilkes-Barre Different

Scranton and Wilkes-Barre sit in the valleys of the Lackawanna and Susquehanna rivers. Hurricane Agnes in 1972 flooded much of the Wyoming Valley, and levees now protect Wilkes-Barre and the towns along the river.
