1. Do you take moisture readings every day and will you give me the drying log?
2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?

In Georgia, ask for a contractor license and look it up with the Secretary of State, and in South Carolina check with the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
