Before You Call At Home Inspections

1. Is your company licensed for asbestos abatement here?
2. Who takes the samples, and which lab tests them?
3. Is your firm certified under the federal lead renovation rule?
4. Will you set up containment and do cleaning verification at the end?

Ask for a Michigan residential builder or maintenance and alteration contractor license and look it up with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Also ask for proof of insurance, industry certification for the restoration crew and lead safe certification for any pre-1978 home.
