Honor Services was established by John Shishilla in 2008 during the real estate crisis. Before, John worked as a residential contractor but decided to leave after a change in heart. During this time, John quickly became the leader of Wind Mitigation Inspections in Florida. His amazing wife, Michelle, joined John soon after to help John in the growing business. Almost a year in, John & Michelle Shishilla began the journey into home inspections. John became one the first licensed home inspectors in the state (license #21) and has since grown the company tremendously on the basis of honorable service. Today, Honor Services is the highest-rated home inspection company on the Space Coast!

Before You Call Honor Services

1. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?
2. How many air samples will you take, and will you take an outdoor control sample?
3. Is your firm certified under the federal lead renovation rule?
4. Will you set up containment and do cleaning verification at the end?

Ask for a Florida contractor license and, for mold work, a Florida mold remediator license, and look both up with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
