2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?

In Nebraska, ask for the contractor’s state registration with the Department of Labor and check any city trade license, and in Iowa check the state contractor registration. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the restoration crew.
