Spring in central Oklahoma means severe weather. Tornadoes, large hail and straight line winds can tear off roofs and break windows, and Moore was hit by violent tornadoes in both 1999 and 2013. Checking a License in Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma Construction Industries Board licenses plumbers, electricians and mechanical contractors and registers roofing contractors, so ask for that license or registration when the job includes those trades and look it up with the board. Oklahoma has no separate state mold license. Ask for proof of liability insurance and whether the technicians hold industry certification in water damage or mold remediation. After a big storm, be careful with anyone who knocks on your door and cannot show a registration.
