2. Are your technicians certified in water damage restoration?
3. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
4. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
5. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?

Ask for the contractor license your city or village requires, since Illinois has no statewide general contractor license, and ask a roofer for a state roofing license. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
