1. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
2. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
3. Do you also do remediation? If so, who checks your work?
4. How many air samples will you take, and will you take an outdoor control sample?
5. Are your technicians trained in bloodborne pathogen safety?

Ask for the contractor’s Pennsylvania home improvement registration number and check any license your city or borough requires. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
