Indoor Science tests indoor environments for mold, lead, asbestos, allergens, water quality as well as other biological, particle and chemical hazards. Each assessment is followed by a detailed report which recommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions. Our services are independent - we recommend the right solution to optimize cost, safety and efficacy such as remediation, abatement, filtration, ventilation, material exchanges, operational procedures, water management, etc. We have completed over 15,000 projects with residential, commercial and government clients. Our services have even been retained by NASA and the US Military.

1. Where do you think the moisture is coming from, and who fixes it?
2. Will you set up containment and negative air, and how will you protect the rest of the home?
3. Is your company licensed for asbestos abatement here?
4. Who takes the samples, and which lab tests them?

Ask for the contractor registration your city or village requires, since Illinois has no statewide general contractor license, and check it with the local building department. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
