5. How will you deal with smoke odor inside wall cavities and the HVAC ducts?

Ask for the contractor’s Pennsylvania home improvement registration number and check any license your city or borough requires, or a New Jersey registration across the river. Also ask for proof of insurance and industry certification for the technicians.
